Greetings FIENDS,

We have just begun distributing the remaining 95% of backer surveys for the Nightmare Symphony campaign! Keep your eye on an email invitation from BackerKit! Distribution of survey emails can take up to 2 hours.

As always, it's very important for all backers to complete their surveys in a timely manner for the fastest rewards delivery. We cannot fulfill your rewards unless you complete your backer survey!

Here are some really important things to know regarding our surveys. Please be sure to read this info before sending us a question because more than likely, we already have an answer for it. ;-)

1. BACKERKIT

We do not use Kickstarter's built-in backer survey tool. Instead, we run our surveys through BackerKit. If you pledged under multiple Kickstarter accounts (some of you may have), please note that you will receive a separate email invitation for each account.

2. NAVIGATING YOUR SURVEY (IMPORTANT!)

We explain our backer survey process in detail in this post on Lady Death Universe. If you over-pledged for add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign, you'll especially want to read and understand this information!

3. SURVEY LOCKDOWN

We will be locking down survey responses on Friday, October 5 at 5:00PM Arizona Time. Be sure to complete your survey before this date and time for the fastest rewards delivery!

4. DIDN'T GET A SURVEY INVITATION EMAIL?

Invitations to backer surveys are distributed via email from BackerKit.

We have learned from past experience that some email services have pretty aggressive spam filters. We strongly recommend whitelisting the domain "backerkit.com" in your email settings to avoid delivery problems. Gmail accounts tend to place BackerKit emails into a user's "Promotions" tab instead of their main inbox.

If you don't receive your backer survey email by 5:00PM Arizona Time today, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.

5. NIGHTMARE SYMPHONY LAST CHANCE "POP-UP" STORE

For those of you who missed the Nightmare Symphony Kickstarter campaign, we have just opened up a "Pop-Up Store" for last-chance preorders on many of the items we offered during the campaign.

We're pleased to announce that we will be distributing the first 5% of our backer surveys for the Nightmare Symphony campaign today! This first round of backer surveys represent our "Smoke Test," which will allow us time to troubleshoot any potential problems prior to us sending out the remaining 95% of the surveys tomorrow.

Greetings Everybody,

Hope you don't mind if I take a minute and highlight a few cool Kickstarter campaigns going on right now that may appeal to you -- 

First up are a group that have truly impressed me with their work ethic and their terrific books -- My booth neighbors at SDCC, Stranger Comics (who published Vampire Hunter D and Niobe: She is Life) have returned to KICKSTARTER with dark fantasy tales, NIOBE: She is Death and ESSESSA: The Fallen. ESSESSA is a tale of a Vorkas Vampire who made a devil’s deal. She wishes to regain humanity to be with the man she loves, and will bleed the world dry to do so.   

This Kickstarter also includes a Pathfinder Roleplaying game and all the previous comics in the world of Asunda such as THE UNTAMED: A Sinner’s Prayer, painted by Peter Bergting (Lord of the Rings) with covers by Jae Lee (Dark Tower) and Hyoung (The Last of Us). Head on over.

Greetings FIENDS,

Kickstarter's billing period for the Nightmare Symphony officially ended last Friday night and we have been contacted by a few of you over this last weekend regarding dropped pledges.

In case some of you missed our previous campaign update, we did mention the following in the FAQ section near the bottom of that post:

If Kickstarter dropped your pledge for nonpayment, don’t fear! Your pledge info will still be transferred over to BackerKit and you will still receive a backer survey. A balance due will appear at the end of your survey, which can be settled with any major credit or debit card during the survey period.

Thanks again for your support, everyone! Just as a reminder, we will be distributing backer surveys on Monday, September 24 and Tuesday, September 25. For full details on what to expect from our backer surveys, please refer to our previous campaign update.
